Jonathan Hollis

Jon joined Pharus in August 2022 and is responsible for financing and M&A execution, as well as business development efforts, across several software and tech-enabled service verticals, most notably Enterprise SaaS, Digital Transformation, Cloud Consulting, IT Services, and Media & Broadcast. 

Additionally, Jon sits as a member of the Pharus Ventures investment committee, evaluating opportunities for the Company’s venture arm. 

Prior to joining Pharus, Jon served as a Vice President at Harbor View Advisors in the Business Services practice area and started his career as an M&A generalist at Morgan Stanley, primarily covering Technology, Media, and Energy. 

Jon received his BA from Yale University and his MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina. 

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, Jon was a minor league baseball player (pitcher) – and then continued avoiding real work with a stint as a freelance sports and pop culture writer, composing several listicles that you probably read while not paying attention on conference calls. 

Jon remains a sports enthusiast – he is a perpetually-injured-but-serviceable recreational basketball player, an ardent supporter of his college and professional teams (including beloved team of destiny, the Jacksonville Jaguars), and serves as a coach and advisor to various youth baseball programs when able. And Jon now channels his creative energies into music (listening, attending live shows, and playing guitar, bass, and drums – in descending order of ability). Jon also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
