Alex joined Pharus’ London office in January 2022 as an Analyst. He is responsible for M&A transactions and financings across a variety of technology sectors, as well as business development efforts in the Media & Broadcast Technology and Data & Analytics sectors.
Additionally, Alex evaluates venture investment opportunities for Pharus’ investment arm, Pharus Ventures, which focuses on early-stage software companies.
Prior to joining Pharus, Alex worked at a FinTech company evaluating potential buy-side opportunities for large Private Equity funds in Europe and North America.
Alex received an MSc in Finance and Accounting from Imperial College London and an MA (Hons) in Economics from the University of St Andrews.
Outside of the office, Alex enjoys playing football and skiing, having grown up a short drive away from the alps in Munich. He is also an avid golfer – although not as skilled as four years living in St Andrews as a student might suggest.
Alex is passionate about music and has played the accordion since the age of 6.
