Frontline Technologies Acquires CRS Advanced Technology

Based in Montoursville, Pennsylvania, CRS Advanced Technologies launched in 1987 with the creation of SubFinder, an automated “sub-calling” system allowing school districts to log teacher absences and schedule substitute teachers over the phone. Over the years CRS has grown to more than 600 customers using the flagship product, SubFinder across the United States.

CRS’s SubFinder will be eventually retired and become apart of Frontline’s own substitute scheduling system, Aesop which serves more than 4,000 districts. The acquisition adds another vital instrument to the Frontline arsenal of educator tools and aligns with its continued expansion into K-12 software solutions through the development and acquisition of new products.

Frontline and CRS have both successfully served the needs of school districts for more than 15 years, with more than 4,000 districts now using Aesop for their substitute and absence management needs, we are pleased to welcome over 600 SubFinder customers to the Frontline family.
